The spring roller coaster continues for Wichita’s weather today – a day after cold rain and snow flurries, the metropolitan area will see sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s, forecasters say.
South winds will grow in strength throughout the day, from single digits to the low 20s, with gusts to almost 30 miles an hour.
Saturday should be even warmer, with mostly cloudy skies, a chance for thunderstorms and highs in the mid-70s.
But then the weather takes another dip, with Sunday bringing much colder temperatures and a chance for rain and snow.
Highs on Sunday could be 30 degrees colder, forecasters say, with highs in the mid-40s.
