Patchy fog may make the morning commute a bit of a challenge today in the Wichita metropolitan area, forecasters say.
The fog is expected to lift by about 9 a.m., and the sizzle will set in. Sunny skies and gusty south winds could send the temperature soaring into the 80s today, forecasters say.
The record book could be dancing a jig today, too: The record for Wichita on March 17 is 86, set in 1994. We’ll be keeping an eye on the mercury.
Cooler temperatures are anticipated the rest of the week, with highs in the 60s. Winds will remain robust, however.
