I’m apparently on the block

I asked coach Brent Bilodeau about the upcoming trade deadline on Monday and got an unexpected answer.
“I’m trying to trade for a new newspaper guy, but nobody wants you,” he said. “I even offered to throw in a few pucks.”
Bilodeau was joking. I think. Anyway, no way I’m leaving Wichita. I just got a riding lawnmower.
Bilodeau went on to say, as you would expect, that he’ll make a deal if it will make the team better. “We’ve got a lot of good young players, and I’m not going to give up those kids and hurt our future,” he said. “We’ll see what happens. Obviously, I’d like to make the team better.”

Injury updates: Goaltender Tim Boron is on the road trip. Bilodeau said he won’t know Boron’s status until the team returns home and the goalie can be examined.
Defenseman Bryan Nathe is expected to play tonight at the Mississippi Riverkings. Brad Thompson will likely be ready to play when the team plays host to Rocky Mountain on Friday. Jonathan Bernier is ready to resume skating.

Kollen, I’d say you have more trade value than anyone else on this team. I found the following statement funny…. “We’ve got a lot of good young players, and I’m not going to give up those kids and hurt our future,” With this group of guys our future is more than likely bankrupcy.

Mississippi drew less than 2,000 for their game against the Thunder. I would like to trade our entire team for their 26-14-2 team. I know that they would enjoy the crowds that show up to watch loss after loss at the Coliseum.

If our smallest crowd this year is over 3,000 with these bunch of pansies, I can imagine what kind of numbers will show up if we had a contender.

I’d just like to know what happened to all the Kansas.com Thunder article’s comments?

    Every one has been deleted?
Are these comments here next to go also?
I guess someone that we all know very well does not like to hear the truth even if it is from the very faithful Thunder fans.

There was nothing posted that should have been censored by a free press paper.

Someone probably got drunk and accidentally hit the delete key. Hopefully you will forgive them.
