No roster news today but …

…Defenseman Jonathan Bernier practiced with the team this morning and he will play Friday, coach Brent Bilodeau said. In 2007-08, Bernier played 21 games with the Thunder, scoring two points and amassing 105 penalty minutes. Bilodeau said Bernier will provide “stability and some toughness.”

This is the same Bernier that coughed up the puck in front of Horrell last year causing one of the more memorable goalie blow ups i can recall isn’t it? Do you honestly think Bernier will provided stability to this defense? He will certainly add some toughness and make some of the blowout games more interesting with a fight here and there, but I don’t see stability with Bernier.

A bad bounce a the end of game does not mean he is a bad d-man…he did pretty well in the ECHL with 2 assists and 2 fights in 3 games before to ask to leave and come back here…glad to see him back with us!!!
