Big Props to Tabor College’s Ashley Cohlmia, A Maize product, for making the All-Tournament team last weekend at a tournament in Point Lookout, Mo. Cohlmia was also an all-league softball player for

Tabor’s Ashley Cohlmia makes All-Tournament Team
Tabor College junior Ashley Cohlmia (Wichita, Kan.) was named to the Mazzio’s Classic All-Tournament Team this past weekend at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Mo.
“Ashley was a huge contributor on the team throughout the tournament,” said Tabor Head Coach Amy Ratzlaff. “She brought significant stability to the court during a time of transitioning into a new team and a new year.
“We are excited to see Ashley contribute throughout the season to our team’s success.”
Cohlmia led the Bluejays in kills and services aces with 34 and 8, respectively. She also showed off her defensive skills by coming up with 26 digs during the four-game tournament.
The Bluejays dropped all four games at the Mazzio’s Classic, but gained valuable experience for the future. The volleyball team traveled to Bethany College on Wednesday and will host Bethel College on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Matches begin at 6 p.m.
