He’s calling the game. For the Kansas State readers out there, this might seem like karma. Several of the guards - Sherron Collins, who is bouncing around like this is his final chance to make a lasting impression on some NBA personnel, in particular - walk over and shake hands with the man who quite literally might decide this game.
Or it could be decided by the players. With Hightower, you never know.

Is this the same Hightower I remember officiating… hell, it seems like Dick Harp games!
If it is, the guy’s gotta be older than John McCain, doesn’t he? And he’s still running with college kids?
He’s already going nuts. He was screaming it’s off you! to Dorsey repeatedly. The guy has no self control. How can you expect people to respect you when you cannot control yourself professionally? Where is Steve?
The guy has a personal dislike for Dorsey for some reason. How he got to call this game i cannot understand. Dorsey was on a break away dunk and Aldrige came up behind him while he was in the air and gave him a two hand shove and Hightower just looked the other way. Hightower let’s his personal feeling for a team get in the way at times. Sad when they go to a commercial and show a replay leading into the commercial. The replay showing not one but two fouls on the lay up and hightower standing there with his whistle up his asp.
