The Jayhawks played the first 16 minutes half asleep. Incredible that UNLV shot 29 percent to KU’s 56 and the Rebels are only down five. UNLV did get itself into foul trouble — three players have two — so that’s something to keep an eye on. Brandon Rush hasn’t attempted a three, for one reason or another. Interesting.
