Editor’s Note: The Kansas State football team is about to lose several key seniors to graduation. In the coming weeks, we will bid farewell to many of them. In this edition: Wade Weibert, Zach Kendall and Kenneth Mayfield.
The middle of Kansas State’s offensive line is going to look a lot different next year.
Center Wade Weibert and guards Zach Kendall and Kenneth Mayfield are all graduating, leaving a big gap in the Wildcats’ roster that needs to be filled.
All three were excellent run blockers and team leaders as seniors. They paved the way up front for Daniel Thomas to run for big yardage, and were always dependable in the locker room. How K-State goes about replacing them will be key throughout spring and summer practices.
