The Dallas Mustangs teammates flew to Manhattan on Friday and took in the Wildcats football game against Miami on Saturday. They ate a few nice meals and got to know the K-State basketball team, too.
“It’s a great place,” Foster said Sunday via text message.
“It was a great experience,” added Carroll. “I loved it. I enjoyed how the sports are a big deal. They’re great people out here and the basketball program is just phenomenal.”
How will those visits impact their recruitment?
Foster, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Wichita Falls, Texas, says his timetable for making a commitment hasn’t changed. He has narrowed his college choices to K-State and Creighton, and has an official visit scheduled in Omaha next week. A final decision could come at any moment.
“I’m just gonna take it day by day,” he said.
