Live Blog: K-State 24, Missouri 17

John Hubert put together a string of nice runs and Andre McDonald caught a one-handed pass to help K-State run out the clock. The Wildcats improved to 5-0 with a 24-17 win over the Tigers, who dropped to 2-3.

5:02 Fourth Quarter
It’s not over yet. Missouri just had its second lost fumble overturned by an official’s review, and went on to score another touchdown.

The Tigers have pulled to within 24-17 with 5:02 remaining. Gary Pinkel now has a choice to make. Kick the ball to K-State and try to make a stop? Or try for an onside kick?

8:12 Fourth Quarter
Missouri kept its slim comeback hopes alive by running in a touchdown with 8:12 remaining in the fourth quarter. K-State leads 24-10.

11:23 Fourth Quarter
K-State looks like it has this one in the bag.

Collin Klein just ran in a touchdown from two yards away to give the Wildcats a 24-3 lead.

5:50 Third Quarter
Kansas State, with the help of two Missouri penalties, just finished off an important drive with a touchdown. The Wildcats were set to punt, but the Tigers roughed Ryan Doerr as he kicked the ball. That gave K-State a first down, and it took advantage.

John Hubert made a nice spin move and sprinted 17 yards for a big gain. Then Collin Klein rushed in a three-yard touchdown. K-State leads 17-3.
