UCF 13, Kansas State 17; FINAL
The Wildcats offense pulled it off. Carson Coffman collided with two UCF defenders in the endzone and K-State took their first lead of the game and securing a win. Their last drive was their best of the game. Daniel Thomas picked up quality yards on three different runs putting the Wildcats within striking distance.
Inside the UCF 20 yard line, Coffman found Broderick Smith on the sideline and picked up a fresh set of downs. Coffman got another carry inside the 10 and was tackled in bounds letting the clock tick well under one minute. Getting the call from the sideline, Coffman lined up and rolled to his left. When he saw that he had an opening, the senior quarterback tucked the ball and got into the endzone for the game-winning score.
Terrance Sweeney picked off Jeff Godfrey to end the game.
