Daniel Thomas made a rare appearance at Kansas State’s mid-week news conference yesterday, and had some interesting comments about the Wildcats’ offense.
Apparently, 519 rushing yards in two games is only so-so in his book.
“I think there’s a lot of room for improvement,” Thomas said. “This upcoming week, I think we’ll put it all together.”
Thomas has piled up 371 of those yards, and broke free for a career-high 234 yards against UCLA. He fell off a little bit against Missouri State, but still rushed for 137 yards in three quarters of action.
He thinks K-State can run more effectively against Iowa State, because of the steady improvement of his offensive line and his newfound comfort level at the running back position. Read More
