Jamar Samuels and sophomore Nick Russell once again played well in Europe on Thursday. The Kansas State duo combined for 30 points and led the East Coast All-Stars to a 100-73 win over the Paris Select Club.
It was the squad’s first win since arriving in Europe last week.
The All-Stars opened the game with a 16-4 run and maintained a comfortable lead throughout. Samuels, a junior forward, and Russell, a sophomore guard, each tallied a team-high 15 points.
Prior to the contest, the All-Stars toured the world-renowned Louvre Museum. The squad won’t have much more time for sightseeing before its tour of Europe comes to an end.
The All-Stars will play their final game today against the Tunisian National Team.
