Did the Big 12 coaches get it right?

The All-Big 12 selections are out.

For the second year in a row, a Kansas State wide receiver/kick returner was named Offensive Newcomer of the Year. Last year, it was Deon Murphy. This year, it’s Brandon Banks.

Seems fair to me, but what about the rest? Were any of the other Wildcats – Brandon Harold? Josh Moore? – deserving of more than honorable mention?

Lets just hope Banks doesn’t have a follow up year like Deon did. :(

With the way the defense played, I’m honestly shocked that Campbell made it. Harold deserves some kind of all-Freshman honor. I don’t know about Moore. He’s awesome, but everyone else got picked apart so much that I feel like Moore was rarely tested. He did a decent job on Crabtree, but part that is because everyone else on Tech was wide open.

    PettMB,

Brandon and Deon are nothing alike. Brandon shows up to work; Deon shows up to sparkle.
