Allow me to explain. I’m not going to delete the violence part, because it’s wrong and I’m not going to hide from a mistake. Instead, I’m going to add an editorial note. We receive reports from the Riley County Police Department, and there was an abbreviation listed. It said “habitual viol.” It was habitual violator, and I want to apologize for suggesting it might have been some sort of violence. That wasn’t my intent – to be honest, the RCPD spokesman didn’t have the information yet, and in retrospect, I should have just asked him what that meant. I’ve had dealings with Gary, and he’s a good dude. Didn’t mean to cast him in a “violent” light.

I agree, there was no kind of violence invovled. Please state the facts, and think about reconsidering a new source. And for PettMB, you did a good job for not going there. Until you come to know him personally, you have no room to say “Hopefully Gary doesn’t have a child”. With a comment like that shows that you don’t need to have any children. You act like he’s a predator, or a convicted felon.
