Senior safety Gary Chandler was arrested early Sunday morning in Manhattan by the Riley County Police Department.
The details aren’t available yet – RCPD spokesman Lt. Kurt Moldrup said the files would be available around 9:30 a.m., at which time I’ll be on my way to Manhattan for this week’s news conference – but the report says driving with a suspended or canceled license, obstructing the legal process and something else pertaining to violence (EDIT: It was actually habitual violator, and I’m an idiot.)

Chandler, the Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year in 2007, has played in four games this season, recording 11 tackles. But he didn’t have a tackle in Saturday’s victory against Louisiana-Lafayette. He was listed as Courtney Herndon’s backup for this weekend’s Big 12 opener against Texas Tech.
