I consulted Fox Sports Net’s Geoffrey Goldman for the definitive answer on what channels this weekend’s Kansas State-Montana State game will be aired. It’s on Fox College Sports, but good look finding that. But here’s some help, courtesy of Mr. Goldman:
DirecTV will have the game on channel 617.
Dish is not scheduled to carry the game.
Cox does not currently carry Fox College Sports (FCS) in Wichita. Fans can visit FoxCollegeSports.com or call 1-877-2GET-FCS for more information.
Here are other cable systems in Kansas and Kansas City that do carry FCS and will have Saturday’s game:
Big ones:
AT&T (channel 648)
Cable One (307)
Comcast (263)
Surewest (Everest) (486)
Time Warner (209)
The rest:
Atwood Cable
Blue Valley
Buford Media Group
Cable TV of St. Paul
Carson Communications
Cequel III
Cox (*Sterling, Kan. only*)
Craw-Kan Telephone Coop
Cunningham Telephone
Eagle Communications
Galaxy
Gorham Telephone
Home Communications
Nex-Tech
Pioneer Communications
Rapid
S & T Communications
Southern Kansas Telephone
Sumner Cable TV
Sunflower Broadband
Twin Valley Communication
Hope that helps…

The game is on the College Football Game Plan on Dish Network they told me on Sunday.
So, in other words, us folks in Wichita who have Cox Cable are screwed. Nice.
Thanks Cox.
go to a bar, or the game for that matter
Thanks for the list! Very helpful!
Those are good ideas pissclams, but I have an 8 week old son. I probably won’t be taking him to a bar…and he’s not quite old enough to take to a game.
I guess I should have said, “Wichita folks with Cox who have a young baby are screwed”.
agreed pissclams
BeerBrewer what are you waiting for. Take your boy to the game. My son was born in the last week of July and we took him to the Eddie Robinson Classic that year. It was 100 degrees in the shade but he only cried when Iowa scored. You need to remember if he is eight weeks old he will only want to sleep anyway
not on dish network what a bunch of bs
Emerson Biggins had it here. Yes, sucks that we can’t catch games we want, but bars are now smoke free! Take the newborn to the bar or game, won’t kill him/her… good for building sleep habits in noise. better yet, get a sitter and enjoy time with the wife!
when will we be able to have PPV options like Nebraska has? $30 to watch a game is a bargain for a family.
oh, did i mention how disasterous our food was at biggins? here’s a rundown: wife’s buger came out raw. kids burger was bad meet. the smell & taste almost made me puke. wife then ordered a class of water after all the mess… she got carbonated soda. they were nice enough to comp us the kids meal… i dont plan on going back. they apologized, but is it unreasonable to have expected a little more from them?
EB’s was fine except for all the families there.
