James Johnson – a Bengal?

I’m a Cincinnati Bengals fan.  Sad, but true.

Every day, I’m perusing all things related to the Bengals, but I missed a blog entry from Dayton Daily News’ Chick Ludwig about James Johnson, the former Kansas State running back.

Ludwig suggests JJ could make the roster, probably as a special teams talent. Thoughts?

    He has the grille…so he has half the requirements to be a Bengal.

    I always liked JJ (even though he is extraordinarily difficult to understand when he speaks). I hope he makes the team. Maybe he’ll be the next Steve Tasker.

    Are their really still NFL teams out there who don’t have K-State players returning kicks? Who was the last K-State running back to not make an NFL roster as a kick returner? Hickson?
