Direct quote from the head scout of an NFL franchise in an email I just received:

"I have not heard of Josh
Freeman but hopefully he will have a good 2008 season to help both himself and the Wildcats. Jordy is a good player and should fit in well with the Packers; some teams emphasize talent over speed."

Oh, and Josh Buhl was a highly recruited stud from a bigtime TX high school program. The two don't compare. My point is Prince handed out too many schollies to kids that probably can't contribute to a winning Big XII football team.

Jeff Martin: Does that mean the staff doesn’t believe Carson Coffman or Tysyn Hartman is prepared to lead the Wildcats.

Parody Post? I don't believe they are prepared to lead me to the nearest restroom.

If you want to avoid appearing to be making racial remarks leave race out of it entirely. You might even consider leaving size out of it and just say you don't think he is good enough to start for ESU much less KSU...If you remember back a few years a guy named Josh Buhl 6 ft 210 lbs was a pretty good linebacker

Big Ern,

The 5'11" linebacker I am referring to is a white guy. That's what it has to do with it. He's white. Relax dude.

What does 'white' have to do with your comment about linebackers?

Some of KSU greatest linebackers were white guys who punished opponents. Ask Major Applewhite what he thinks of KSU inside linebackers.

And as far as Prince learning, I don't think that's possible. You don't give out that many offers without looking desperate. I think he's extremely worried about his position and rightly so. This could be his last year.

I'm pretty sure we had a "raise your hand" for a KSU offer policy on the table for the last 3 years. That's how we end up with 5'11" 230lb white linebackers that should be at ESU riding the pine.

The offers seem to be down this year so maybe Prince and Co. are learning.
