Bye, bye, bye

Nothing like like a little *NSYNC to snap you out of the afternoon doldrums, no?

Anyway, this dispatch comes straight from the Kansas State sports information office, courtesy of Tom Gilbert, or, as he’s also known, T-Bone:

I just talked to the conference office and Kansas State has officially clinched a bye at next week’s Big 12 Championship for the second straight season. The Wildcats will either be the No. 3 seed or the No. 4 seed depending on the results of the remaining games this week. The No. 4 seed would play Friday, March 14 at 2 p.m. CT at the Sprint Center against the winner of the game between the No. 5 and No. 12 seeds, while the No. 3 seed would play Friday at 8 p.m. CT against the winner of the game between No. 6 and No. 11 seeds.

There you have it. Have fun with the permutations.

    Wow, I can’t believe I just thought of that… How come there weren’t a bunch of girls with T-shirts with Mike’s face on the front – they could have been called “The Wanna-Beaz.”

    C’mon, that’s clever. Someone needs to make that happen for the Big 12 Tournament. For real. Give me credit, sure, but that needs to happen.
