I felt like Baylor won that game more than the Cats lost it. They hit shots down the stretch. Beasley looked tired at the end missing bunnies. When they are draining 3's and you're missing layups, you are going to struggle to win. The stat thing that stands out the most to me is that Mike didn't hit a FG for the last 16 minutes. When you score can be just as, if not more important than how much you score.

Agree, much much more energy. Baylor just knocked down more shots. Stew really needs to step up down the stretch, he hasn't played the same since he lost his mom.

I've written this before, but I'll mention it again: figuring Beasley and Walker are gone after this season, I think I and many fans were hoping for more - even though we're getting a lot right now, even if we don't recognize it all, just yet. Losing Mike and Bill will hurt the team next season, even though there are some really good players returning (hopefully) and coming into the program. The learning process of this season is frustrating because the 2008-09 team will be so different and many of us are unsure of what to expect next season, with such a different team dynamic.

Thanks for the update JMart. Encouraging words were needed right now. Its hard watching a promising season slip away, or atleast it feels that way now.
If we can get Texas tomorrow, I will feel much better about everything.

I agree the guys looked much better. Have you got word if Sutton's knee was still bothering him? he didn't get much playing time. It would have been nice to have had him playing on Jerrells in the 2nd half. It was nice to see Ron Anderson get some quality minutes as well. He's going to be a good one for the cats in the future. I think the Future is bright for the wildcats.
