My take, Missouri (02/02)

I’m not even certain who will be in uniform today for the Tigers. This is one of those classic situations where coaches say, “Don’t worry about the opposition – let’s focus on us.” Not to toss too many cliches out there, but this a business trip in the strictest sense. Just handle your business – a win – and get out of Missouri as quick as possible.

Do I think Missouri will play with a sense of purpose? Yes. Am I worried about a letdown following such a big victory against KU? No.

71 seems a bit much for such a depleted team.

Perfect assessment,JM. I wouldn’t predict Mike sitting with 15. It’s arrogant. Missouri will come to play. This is an opportunity for our guys to grow, to be develop a sense of professionalism to go with their enthusiasm. JGug

Okay, Cats, I don’t want to hear any “homer” comments, “bad ref” comments or anything else. Perhaps “We were tired from our overcarousing and over celebrating and did not have our drunk asst. coach(never mind that he put others lives in danger ona very bad night to be driving) would be true, however.
