I grew up in Topeka during the Hartman era and was a student his last couple of years and Kruger's first couple. I agree on the dark days. I was in the Silverdome for the loss in '88. It, along with the A&M loss in football still sting. Huggs leaving doesn't quite compare for me, but it was irritating. However, each passing day and each passing w makes it all better.
