He wants to come back next season. His surgery is scheduled for Feb. 1. He said the normal rehab time is six-to-eight months, but he said Saturday – with a smile – that he’d do it in four. He wasn’t sure about what the steps were he had to take to gain another year, if he’d meet the specific criteria (I told him he would, based on my dealings with the Big 12).
And then I asked him the important question:
“If you come back, could you convince the two young fellas to come back, too?”
He paused, thought about it, and said, “Well, maybe one of them.”
Interpret that as you will…

Between Dave and the Wildcat Nation, hopefully we can convince 1, if not both to come back.
Very nice, juicy post tonight JMart.
“Maybe” ‘1′ of them?
Yep, they’re both gone. Enjoy it while it lasts, confirmed.
Walker would be dumb to go after this season. His draft status will only go up if he sticks around.

You don’t know that for sure. It’d be great if stays another season but can only be grateful for the time we had either one.
I would love to have Hoskins back. We will have a solid team next year. Sutton and Pullen are coming along well. We will have Samuels. Brown and Anderson will continue to develop. Cat fans have got to quit worrying about next season and whether or not Beas and Walker will leave. No one will fault Beasley for leaving as it seems as though his draft status is extremely high. As for Walker, he is getting better by the game. This duo is unbelievable. Everyone needs to just have fun with our team this season. They are a great bunch of players doing a great job. Go CATS!!! BEAT KU!!!
NBA draft reports are saying Walker’s stock is rising.
