The 6-foot-9 forward nicknamed “Ticket” recently took the ACT and the results should be back before Thanksgiving. He’s confident he received the necessary 15 or 16; the last time he took the ACT, he scored a 14. If he gets a 15 or 16 or better, he says he’ll be in Manhattan on Dec. 1 but won’t be able to get going with the team until Dec. 10.
“I’m so excited, man,” he said Thursday. “I’m not going to redshirt or nothing. I’m in physical shape so I’ll be ready to go.”
He said he spoke yesterday with Mike Beasley, who told him “to hurry up and get out there.”
Samuels is currently at Notre Dame Prep, basically staying shape. Another of his D.C. Assault brethren and apparent future K-State teammates, Dominique Sutton, is also out there. Samuels said Sutton finished the work yesterday for the English credit he was shy, and he, too, will be in Manhattan Dec. 1.
But Sutton, reached later Thursday afternoon, said he another session to finish, but he is on schedule to arrive in Manhattan on Dec. 1.

good news
now get digging on hoskins and walker injuries and how many months they will be out for plz.
Nice job, please keep us updated on any changes to both players.
Is Sutton ready to go or redshirting? You specified with Samuels, but not Nique. And they should be the 5 on it when they get here. You can ask them about the road to qualifying and the challenges blah blah. I’ll eat that @#$! right up.
Nice transcribing btw (unless Levi did it.)
JMart– No rest, get to work on Walker’s Hand. Keep up the good work. Have someone proofread next time.
Hoskins is out for the season and will get a medical redshirt so he can play next season.
