Paula-gate

paula.jpgPaula Abdul’s big mess-up this week — when she critiqued both of Jason Castro’s songs even though he’d sung just one — has become quite the big deal. Since the incident, critics and fans of “American Idol” have been wondering just how scripted, set-up and fair the show really is.

No doubt, this is one of the worst week’s of Paula Abdul’s life — maybe even worse that the week she tripped over her puppy and fractured her…whatever. But according to her bosses at “Idol,” her job is not in jeopardy.

Should it be, though? Discuss…

No, Paula shouldn’t lose her job…what would it be without crazy maybe drunk maybe on pills maybe just crazy Paula? Still, I have strong suspicions that the judges are scripted before the shows based on what the producers think of the performances that week…and that Paula just got a little ahead of herself with the notes. On the other hand, Ryan did say that there would be no comments until they had performed both songs…and then they threw a change at her at the last minute…and she was *confused*. Paulas mind…*omg…they’ve already sung two songs…what did i miss…ok…i’m going to bluff it…no charm on song I heard…so…no charm on 2nd one*…plausible. Either way…Paula’s mind was elsewhere..for whatever reason.

And, I’m thinking the reason Jason was called out first and told he was safe probably didn’t mean he got the most votes but may have been a way to apologize to him by letting him know he was safe early on…rather than doing the right thing and saying it was a screw up that was unfair to you we are sorry.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to learn that they have exercised their right to kick someone off despite the voters in the past and will do so in the future…but I’m a cynical old broad.

I won’t believe the vote-offs until they show us the total number of votes and who really got what.

It’s time for Paula to go. Does she ever really give any good criticism? And “The Dog” is getting really old. I don’t understand how they critic the contestants. They are told to sing a song & make it their own but then most of the time get bad criticism because they didn’t sing it like the original stars. What’s Up With That “DOG”?

I think she is hot. Nice tits and ass and what a face. I’d poke her in a New York minute.

After that, there is no doubt that she is on drugs.
