yeppers! this is the kristy lee cook contingent. now i love country music and i love dolly parton. kristy lee is no emmy lou harris…she is no patsy cline…she is no anyone who is anyone. she is just a blondie who can hit a few twangy notes as long as she doesnt have to go beyond a range from middle c to f sharp. actually, in return to me she had only about a 4 note range to master and she couldn’t handle that. ack…serenity now! didn’t dolly record Amazing Grace? My guess is that Kristy will sing that tomorrow night as it is the only other song in her repetoire besides I’m Proud to be an American. OK, I’m probably wrong but I will be close! Please let her try *And I Will Always Love Yuuuuuuuuu* Maybe even those at the country kitchen will see the light.
I’m just hoping that we get something good out of David Cook, Jason, and Brooke White. Wouldn’t upset me if Carly and Michael Johns knocked it out of the park either. I’m warming up to Carly.
So Kristy Lee is probably my least favorite and has been since before Kady Malloy was sent on her way. Ok, maybe even before that. I can’t believe she’s made it this far! After one episode was over–which one escapes me right now–I was irritated that she beat out whoever left. So I was voicing my opinions and my brain was moving faster than my mouth and this is how she’s been described at my house since, “twangy twangy sucky!!!” Not exactly proper english, but extrememly entertaining and completely accurate. Feel free to use that to describe here as well
“OK Dawgs, let’s be real — I mean,ah,oh really,Kristy your voice just doesn’t quite do it for me. But, really now, I mean with all of the exposure you’ve received on Idol,really now a modeling contract is a slam dunk for you DAWG!!! I mean really now doesn’t she look like she could be Christie Brinkley’s sister, er, uh I mean daughter.”
I think you are way off base. Kristy Lee Cook shouldn’t go yet. She should last at least for 3 more eliminations; Ramielle first, if the public has any sense; then Jason, (he’s o.k. in fact all of these contestants are worthy since they are the top 9 ) or Brooke…she’s not going to last…and then Kristy..IN that order. How can you be bored? !! What?? This entertainment is wonderful. Where do you go that you see anything any better? They are all doing pretty durn well, and its the best competition we have had in years on Idol.
