“48 Hours Mystery” to air Kansas case

WICHITA — Despite strenuous objections from defense attorney Dan Monnat, “48 Hours Mystery” last year filmed inside a Johnson City courtroom where Chad Floyd was on trial on charges of killing Michael Golub, a former boyfriend of Floyd’s wife, Shannon.

Golub and Shannon Floyd were involved in a custody dispute over their son.

Golub’s body has never been found.

After two trials with no verdicts, charges were dismissed.

“48 Hours” is airing an episode about the case, called “Justice in the Heartland,” Saturday at 9 p.m.
