WICHITA — The Newton Performing Arts Center is more than doubling its space at Chisholm Trail Center-Outlet & Retail Shops.
Kari Lee’s dance studio is expanding from 3,500 square feet to 8,000 square feet.
Lee says dance classes are full, and she’s had to turn some people away. She has two classrooms but needs more in order to add more classes and students.
The new studio will be the largest. Lee says there also will be enough extra space to add a prop room and a work room “just to kind of get some of the stuff out of the dance studios.”
The size of the lobby also will double.
The new space will be ready in September.
