Several — but not all — of the professionals in the building are moving nearby to either 250 or 240 N. Rock Road.
Robin Siefkin and James Miller’s ACM Removal is moving a bit farther.
The company, which removes asbestos and mold, is moving to the Warren Travel building at 5900 E. Central.
Siefkin says there’s good and bad with the move.
“Well, it’s very stressful (to) try to keep everything rolling,” he says of working and moving.
However, it may help his waistline.
“Like my wife says, I ate too many Freddy’s steakburgers.”
Siefkin says the new site makes sense in part because of the number of trucks his company has, which is an issue on Rock Road.
“It’s kind of hectic.”
Siefkin also likes his landlords at Warren Travel, which is still in the building.
“I really like Warren Travel.”
Carl Hebert at InSite Real Estate Group handled the deal.
He also helped Real Life Counseling with its new lease at the building.
The counseling office currently is at 1603 N. Chapel Hill St. near 13th and Greenwich.
At 1,000 square feet, the group’s new office will be larger than what it currently has.
“We kind of weave in and out of each other right now,” says Joel Ybarra.
He’s one of eight counselors and therapists who offer couples counseling, family therapy and play therapy for children and will share four suites and a large work space at the new space.
“That space is going to be customizable to our needs and the needs of our clients,” Ybarra says. “The landlords have been flexible to allow us to do that ourselves.”
The counselors and ACM Removal both officially move on Saturday.
