WICHITA — Like a good neighbor, Kelsey Metzinger won’t be there.
“She’s got a really great business opportunity here,” Metzinger says. “I can help her out, and I’m going to.”
Bungalow 26 has decor, bath-and-body products and accessories.
Bohemia offers massage and acupuncture.
“It’s not really a place where you go if you want to get a fluffy spa treatment,” Hardenbrook says. “It’s more focused.”
That includes deep tissue and sports massage and acupuncture that focuses on treatment for fertility issues and chronic pain and stress.
Hardenbrook plans to expand those areas and offer sunless tanning and natural manicures.
She says everything she offers, which includes candles, body butters and bath salts, features natural products and ingredients.
The expanded Bohemia should be ready in late July.
Metzinger moved to the space she’s currently in just last year after opening at another Delano address in 2007.
She’s hoping this third spot will not only be the charm but her permanent home.
Half of Metzinger’s business is interior design, so she’s looking forward to creating a new space.
“I get really stagnate in a space — which is not to say I’m going to move again in a year,” she says. “I like the challenge of a new business.”
Her friends wonder about her, though.
“It is pretty funny,” Metzinger says. “Everybody thinks I’m insane.”
