WICHITA — A new tobacco shop is opening in Towne West Square Tuesday.
Mary and Maher Gerges are opening Shesha Tobacco Shop near JC Penney.
“My husband’s just always wanted a place over there,” Gerges says.
She says their small space is where another tobacco shop was a few years back.
“He just decided that would be the perfect place for it.”
They’ll sell a variety of tobacco, including cigars and tobacco for hookah water pipes.
There will be a few odds-and-ends items, too, like mints, gum and incense.

Will they have Skydancer light 100’s ?
So Towne West will now have two bars … and a Tobacco Shop? I’m glad to hear a small business owner is doing well in this economy and can even open a new store, but these aren’t really things I would be proud to say are being sold at the mall – hope they will be very diligent about checking ID’s with all the kids that hang out there every day.
Hutch… really? Do you honestly think the mall is some sacred space where only “good” people go and only “good” products should be sold? Seems to me that any business that can find a customer base is something to be proud of in our malls… especially Towne West. Its on its last leg.
