Currently, the company operates on less than five acres near I-435 and Front Street in Kansas City, Mo.
“We outgrew that facility a number of years ago,” president Tom Udland says.
“We hope to have it ready and moved in by the end of June next year,” Udland says.
The facility will sell equipment and parts and fix machines.
Murfin Inc. owns the more than 25-year-old company, which has 16 locations over four states.
The company’s plans for three new buildings on 21 acres in Park City at the southeast corner of 53rd North and I-135 are still on hold.
In March, Udland said the company could proceed if it wanted to, “But there’s just enough cloud with the (economy) right now that we’re just going to wait.”
