U.S. Census Bureau preparing to move into Northwest Centre for 2010 census counting

WICHITA — With the 2010 census just around the corner, the U.S. Census Bureau is leasing space at Northwest Centre at 13th and Tyler in preparation to start counting Wichitans.

“They’re taking about 6,500 square feet of the former J.P. Weigand west residential office space,” says Brady Miller, who handled the deal for Occidental Management.

“That space has all been completely re-leased now,” he says.

Greg Fox of Realty World Alliance took the rest of the space.

The Census Bureau will move in sometime in August.

“We’re excited to have them there,” Miller says. “They’re going to have about 50 employees, which we think is going to be great for the center.”

    You don’t have a clue, but I’m dishonest? Obot thy name is bth. Meanwhile, those of us with autonomous thoughts still intact are not as excited as you about handing the census over to a street agitator gang that injected fraudulent registrations into the last election. At least 1/3rd were outright frauds.

    It is important that as many of us as possible refuse to answer their questions. Throw their initial postcard away! When they phone, hang up on them. When they come out in person I will tell them how many people are in my household, and if they ask anything else I’ll bet I can make him or her cry as they thrash their little acorn feet away from me as fast as they can go.

    Clueless. Simply clueless. The Census Bureau hired KANSANS in Kansas. Not exclusively, of course, but they’ve been advertising positions for months and hiring our neighbors and relatives.

    The facts are that the Census Bureau hires local if possible. ACORN is local. During the 2008 campaign, Obama paid ACORN $800,000 to register voters. ACORN bragged they were able to garner 1.6 million suckerbots(that number is suspect). One third of which were proven to be fraudulent. Now pretend it was pubbies that did that and you’ll finally have a smidgeon of a chance to envision some semblance of distrust.

    1980 to 2000 census had about 61 to 66% participation. They of course have a goal of 70% of people cooperate. I suspect the number that will actually participate because of ACORN will drop towaard 60%. According to the workers, they are convinced every one responds. No less than 2 out of 3

    I worked for the U S Census Bureau this spring as they were canvassing addresses. I was paid by the U S Government. Only one time was I asked if I was working for ACORN. While ACORN may be helping with the census, Please at least answer the 6 main questions on the postcard. These will allow your city or county to apply for funding for big projects that might not get done otherwise. I understand that ACORN is also sending out a questionaire. You do not have to answer it.

    The only question the U.S. Census needs to ask is how many people reside at each home. The rest is data gathering that exceeds the constitutional authority of the U.S. Census Bureau and the Federal Government.

    We do not need our Federal Government asking things like;

    What time did this person usually leave home
    to go to work LAST WEEK?

    How many automobiles, vans, and trucks
    of one-ton capacity or less are kept at
    home for use by members of this
    household?

    How many separate rooms are in this
    house, apartment, or mobile home?

    IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, what
    were the actual sales of all agricultural
    products from this property?

    What is the monthly rent for this
    house, apartment, or mobile home?

    To find out what other intrusive questions they plan to ask;

    DO NOT work with these people in any fashion. ACORN is a Leftist fascist group and should be treated as such. They are funded by dangerous groups.

    Do not fill out anything. Demand that they be replaced and no monies given to them.

    In fact, do not give this business center any business at all. Dont shop or frequent anyone in the center for any purpose. Make ACORN a group you dont want in your center

    Odd, not since they have been given 8 billion dollars in the last round of Obamanomics. They will be into everything including the Census as has been announced by the admin.

    Ok righties, tell me this… How is what ACORN done any different than what Terry Newman and the rest of the Pro-Terrorist movement has done?

    NOTHING!

    At least ACORN hasn’t blown up any buildings or assassinated anyone…
