Four Democratic candidates in the primary race for the U.S. Senate in Kansas will take part in a live televised debate at 6:30 tonight on KWCH, Channel 12.
Those participating in the 30-minute debate are state Sen. David Haley, of Kansas City; Baker University assistant dean Lisa Johnston, of Overland Park; communications executive Charles Schollenberger, of Prairie Village; and attorney and accountant Patrick Wiesner, Lawrence.
Candidate Bob Conroy, a retired railroad engineer from Shawnee, has told the TV station he will not participate.
Republican candidates in the race debated last week on KWCH.
The primary election is Aug. 3.
