City Hall wants to know what you think is the city’s most aesthetically-pleasing public project completed within the last four years. Then the city’s design council will evaluate nominations and give one the Chris Cherches Award.
The award is named after former city manager Chris Cherches because he advocated thoughtful design on public and private projects. Cherches died in 2004. Last year, the first-ever award went to the the West Kellogg highway project because, the city says, it benefited so many people and had exceptional engineering, artistry and landscaping.
