Former Butler County state legislator Peggy Palmer has thrown her endorsement to Mike Pompeo in the 4th Congressional District race.

Palmer, of Augusta, served a Butler-county-based district in the House from 1996-2002 and in the Senate,  2004-2008.

“Mike understands our principles of limited government, free enterprise, individual freedoms and family values,” said Palmer.

Pompeo, a businessman and Republican national committeeman, is running in a Republican primary race that features two sitting senators, Jean Schodorf of Wichita and Dick Kelsey of Goddard; and businessmen Wink Hartman and Jim Anderson.

Mike Pompeo is building a big tent. Ultra conservatives including Palmer deserve representation also. Only Unions and the far left are being represented currently. Those groups sent Raj Goyle back to Wichita. It won’t work!

If Mike is such a great conservative, how come he let the taxpayers pay for his college?

Wasn’t there some kind of a strange money thing going on with Thayer just before he left?

So….We have 4 very conservative men running and 1 moderate women. Wink Hartman claims he is the only businessman running…that must have been a blow to Pompeo. Anderson has some nut case coming to campaign for him this week, Kelsey had Huckabee here a couple of weeks ago, and Pompeo has these crazy right wingers endorsing him….sounds like they are going to tear each other apart trying to fight to be the most conservative. Sounds like Schodorf has a huge advantage here.

Palmer tried to get a insane immigration bill through the Senate, and when it didn’t pass she went off the deep end, sent all of the Senators emails about what a disgrace they all were and quit… all together quit her seat. Good choice Pompeo….
