They have a brand new facility (underwritten by Cargill Industries) that is a center for connecting the homeless with community resources, including counselling, job training,etc. Inter-Faith also has a long and noble history of providing temporary and permanent housing for the homeless, including those with mental illness and substance problems. I think the mayor is ignoring this vital community asset for some political reason! I think a lot of people have the heart to help and they want to help, but at the same time, they don't want to deal with or even see the homeless. </p> <p>I think it's only the very dedicated of the non-profit organizations that will help and they are.
