Perhaps you could celebrate it by allowing the punctuation in blog entry titles to show up on the Kansas.com home page. (For instance, the WichiTalk blogs reads “Face it: whats your dream job?”)
I’ll mark this on my calendar so I may properly observe it next year. As Lynne Truss wrote, “Proper punctuation is both the sign and the cause of clear thinking. If it goes, the degree of intellectual impoverishment we face is unimaginable.”

I am an exclamation point over-user. I admit it! Sorry!
