There are several copy editing blogs I visit on a regular basis. One of the better ones is John McIntyre’s You Don’t Say.
A two-term president of the American Copy Editors Society, John is the Baltimore Sun’s assistant managing editor for the copy desk. He has a breezy style, a sharp wit and a terrifying amount of knowledge and insight. We may not agree on everything — I’m one of those who would be giddy if whom disappeared from the dictionary, something many writers apparently think has happened already — but I never fail to learn something from him.
I could go on, but the time you spend reading my noodlings about him is time you could spend reading his posts.
