El Agave Mexican Restaurant opened Sunday at 3320 N. Rock Road, the building that most recently held Top China Buffet.
I have a copy of the menu, and it makes me hungry. Most of the dishes seem a bit more complex than the typical taco/burrito/enchilada offerings. The ones that make me the most hungry are tacos carne asada, enchiladas Suizas and a very long list of entrees featuring shrimp. There’s also a short vegetarian section, and the restaurant has a full bar.
It’s open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call 316-315-0351.
