I’ve been collecting all the funny food things I’ve seen on the Internet lately so we all could have a laugh one of these mornings. That morning is here.
First, there’s this:
Really, what more needs to be said about that? A truer, tastier flow chart has likely never been written.
I also like this well-circulated cartoon, which I saw this week on local wine expert Guy Bower’s Facebook page.
I particularly liked the caption Guy wrote when he posted the picture: “One and, two and, three and four, OK – That’s enough for one day!”
Finally, and I hope you have the intestinal fortitude to handle this one…
My lovely friend Erin made a, um, lovely(?) cake for my friend Carter’s birthday. Carter has recently acquired a new kitteh that he loves.
Erin made a white and a chocolate cake, crumbled them together and used food coloring liberally. The “special chunks” in this cake are crafted from Little Debbie brownies.
Jaime, Carter’s wife, said that the cake tasted fabulous, but she had a hard time enjoying it (for obvious reasons.) She described it as the crappiest cake she’s ever eaten.
Erin assured those gathered that she had just purchased the cake pan and server and that they’d never been used before.
