A Florida man who had been condemned to death for a crime he didn’t commit is scheduled to speak Tuesday at Wichita State University.
Juan Melendez is set to tell his story at 7 p.m. in Hubbard Hall, room 208. He will also meet with students at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hubbard Hall, room 211.
Melendez was originally scheduled to speak last month, but inclement weather postponed his visit.
