Michael Gehrisch, who is president and CEO of Destination Marketing Association International, will be the featured speaker at this year’s annual meeting of the Go Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The event begins at 11:30 a.m. Friday At Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre, 3207 E. Douglas.
According to a news release from Go Wichita, Gehrisch, who has led the association for 11 years, has established a consistent standard for destination marketing operations that has accredited more than 100 DMOs around the globe – including Go Wichita. Worldwide trends and developments in tourism and business travel also will be discussed at the annual meeting.
