The Mental Health Association of South Central Kansas will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. Aug. 8. The event is to celebrate the anticipated opening of a new housing community, The Garden at Wichita Place, 3242 S Wichita St. The complex is scheduled to start receiving new residents within the next week.
Board member Beth Hogan will preside over the event, and the public is invited to attend.
