Freddy’s opens Las Vegas restaurant

A restaurant in Las Vegas, Nev., brings to 68 the number of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steak outlets.

The Las Vegas Freddy’s opened today and marked the 10th state in which the Wichita-based chain is operating, according to a news release from the company.

“We are very grateful for this level of growth and for the guests who have such a strong affinity for our food,” said chief operating officer Scott Redler in the release.

Co-founded by Redler and Bill, Randy and Freddy Simon, Freddy’s opened its first location on west 21st Street in Wichita in 2002.
