A business forum aimed at assisting Hispanic business owners and managers is planned for July 23 at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park.
Sponsored by the Kansas Department of Commerce and the Kansas Hispanic and Latino American Affairs Commission, the second Hispanic Business Forum follows one held in September 2011 in Dodge City.
Topics at the upcoming session will include gaining access to capital, using state and federal programs, attracting customers and overcoming challenges to growing a small business.
The forum runs from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Regnier Center at the college, 12345 College Boulevard in Overland Park. The deadline for registration is July 9.
