Kansas Leadership members in town this week

Trips to a salt mine museum and a state prison — as well as briefings from Wichita business leaders — are on the agenda for members of Leadership Kansas during their visit to south-central Kansas this week.

Forty participants are expected to attend events starting Wednesday and ending Friday. The activities include tours of the Kansas Underground Salt Museum in Hutchinson, the state prison in El Dorado and Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita.

The group also will hear a presentation on downtown Wichita’s redevelopment and panel discussions on entrepreneurship.

Leadership Kansas, an affiliate of the Kansas Chamber, is a statewide program that aims to train and motivate future leaders across the state.
