As you might have read in this blog post last week, Jon Stewart of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” has been engaged in a little battle with CNBC.
Since it started, Stewart has been in a war of words with CNBC’s Jim Cramer, who you can see on “Mad Money.”
Well, tonight is the night. Cramer and Stewart face off on Stewart’s show, which airs at 10 p.m. in Wichita. It will be interesting to see what happens. I know I’ll be watching.

I predict Stewart by TKO in 3…
Not if they let Cramer bring his sound effects.
The only thing worse than the current fate of my 401(k) would have been listening to Cramer’s stock tips.
Just how does a guy who made millions betting on stocks to go down get his own show picking stocks to go up?
A bit off topic but I have a serious bleg; how can the shorting of stock even be considered legal, let alone without an up-tick rule?
I don’t own a TV so please provide a follow-up.
That interview was the very first time I have ever seen a reporter a) understand the magnitude of the situation and b) actually grill someone on the issue. Of all people the reporter was Jon Stewart.
I truly hope this story gets legs, and reporters everywhere start firing away. If you understand what has been transpiring, you will never own stocks again until laws/rules are changed. If you truly grasp what is going on, you will have a very sick, queasy feeling in your stomach, followed by anger. Stewart gets it.
If you think the story is about going after someone for bad stock tips, you don’t get it.
I’d agree with that, Jerry.
The story, if you want to sum it up, is about greed.
And I agree. The rules are in dire need of change.
