Entrepreneurship thrives in a recession

The headline above is the mantra of Tim Pett, director of Wichita State’s Center for Entrepreneurship. And now, this article by Financial Express substantiates that.

In fact, Pett thinks now is the time for entrepreneurs to begin chasing their dream, much as Bill Gates used a recession to kick-start Microsoft.

    I agree with Pett. I’m working on my start-up business now. This is the opportune time to launch.

    There is never a bad time to launch a good business plan. Good businesses are recession proof. If your company was the best maker of analog TV’s and your business plan did not had not changed for the switch to digital, guess what it is no longer a good business plan. So be it depression, recession, or growing period – have a good business plan and you will be successful.
